Communication is the activity of conveying information through the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, by speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behaviour. It is the meaningful exchange of information between two or more living creatures1. Effective communication is a reciprocal interactive process in which sender and recipient have responsibilities to ensure that a message has been received and understood. Health care professionals have to provide an efficient and effective service that addresses the needs of patients. Effective communication skills became a vital factor of clinical competence and compliance. Its objectives are to improve accuracy, efficiency and supportiveness. The crucial thing to resolve issues with inappropriate interpersonal communication and prevent the negative outcome is to keep an open mind and stay focused.
